You won't find the seafront here, but a quiet base to set off from.

Gatteo a Mare is 7.3 km (nine minutes by car), Villamarina di Cesenatico 7.4 km, Cesenatico 11.5 km, Bellaria 11.9 km. On foot, though, it's not really walkable.

Yes, and it's important to know: without a vehicle, the location doesn't shine. Sea, parks, and towns are close — but by car. A guest wrote that "it requires a means of transport," and they were right.

If you arrive by train and don't rent a car, it's better to look along the seafront.

Yes, free and on-site, right by the building. In August, along the seafront, finding a spot can become the day's first worry; not here.

From the A14, exit at Valle del Rubicone, the town's exit: from there it's 4.2 km (six minutes). Coming from the north, the alternative is Cesena Nord, 20.7 km away.

There's one double bedroom, one twin bedroom, and a sofa bed in the living room for those who like extra space. The apartment is 75 m² and has two bathrooms: tell me how many you are and I'll let you know if the layout suits you.

It's on the 1st floor and there's an elevator. With luggage, a stroller, or someone who finds stairs challenging, it makes a big difference.

There are two bathroom spaces: the main one with a shower and a second in the sleeping area. Booking lists them as 2, Airbnb as 1.5 — the second one is counted differently. If it's crucial for you, ask me before booking — I'll tell you exactly how it's set up.

Check-in is between 14:00 and 21:00 (please share your time in advance); check-out is by 10:00. Quiet hours are from 22:00 to 9:00.

Yes, children are welcome at any age. A cot is free, on request. From age seven, however, they count as adults in the guest count.

The price varies by season and length of stay. There isn't a fixed rate list that would soon be out of date: send me your dates and you'll get the exact price, with no add-on fees after.

Yes, the Municipality of Gatteo applies it. For holiday homes and apartments it's €1.50 per person per night, and there are three things worth knowing:

• It's charged only from April 1st to September 30. Outside that period it doesn't apply.
• It's capped at the 7th night. From the 8th night onward you don't pay.
• Guests under 18 are exempt. This isn't the most common rule in Italy, where the exemption usually stops much earlier: here a family with two teenagers pays for two people, not four.

People with severe disabilities and those with an 80% disability or more are also exempt, together with their caregiver.
